Nickel-free brass. The material used is called Sabra, a plant-based yarn derived from the agave plant. It is crafted by artisans using genuine traditional craftsmanship with natural plant fibers, rather than industrial viscose.
The buttons are produced in Marocco, and the artist has known the artisans for more than twenty years. The artist is based in Rome, where she personally assembles and creates these magnificent pieces.
